I called to make a reservation but the resort was closed for a few days. I was happy when the proprietor stated we could stay there anyway. We enjoyed our 2 nights immensely - the motel was impressive and we truly enjoyed the hot tub. The management toured us around the area despite being closed. The service was great - looking forward to returning to enjoy the rest of the facility. Thanks and keep up the good work!!

yesterday harold and i got a nice catch of northern pike and a bass. we had a delicious piece of apple pie for a snack during a break in a great day of fishing. the tastefully decorated lounge with impressive carvings and objects and pictures on the wall presented a magnificent seaside ambience sure to please all.

Yeah they are good ! The band name is High 'n' Lonesome, there is a picture of them on the homepage here. But we had a blast there too, I cant believe the variety of songs they play, they make everyone in the crowd happy because they do everything fom CCR to merle haggard..........and do they ever do Mustang Sally !!! The best i have heard any band do it !!! And I have heard alot of bands !!!!! Thank you River Runs for a great Canada day, and i will be sure to tell everyone.Sarah

Message to Disappointed: We are very sorry you were disappointed with your visit. The menu is always available except on our specials, like Pasta Night on Thursday or Sunday Brunch. The chicken poutine was taken off the menu due to lack of sales but if you would like something that is not on the menu and we have the ingredients we would be pleased to make it for you on any regular menu day. As for the hamburger and such, that is on our lunch menu. I hope this addresses your concerns.
